Regional Services

  • This team of HR professionals from our member districts meets twice a year to ensure that graduate college credit hours for advancement on a district’s salary schedule reflect actual benefits for students and advance a district’s learning goals.

    • Reviewing colleges’ accreditation

    • Compiling an approved list of colleges and universities that offer graduate degree credits

    • Compiling an approved list of colleges and universities that offer continuing education credits

    • Providing guidance for approving continuing education credits

    • Working with area colleges and universities

  • HR professionals from CSDGKC member districts meet regularly to share successful HR practices and discuss issues facing districts across our region.

  • The district composite calendar is one of the surveys CSDGKC conducts to provide regional data to member districts. The calendar helps districts compare their schedules.

  • The Education Policy Leadership Program is a year-long leadership experience offered through a partnership between CSDGKC and AdvocacyBuild, LLC. Designed for education leaders seeking a deeper understanding of state and national policy, the program includes:

    • Six full-day, in-person seminars in Kansas City

    • One overnight legislative summit in Jefferson City

    • One national legislative summit in Washington, D.C.

    • Seven additional Zoom meetings (no more than 90 minutes each)

    Participants must attend all required sessions. Tuition and travel-related costs are the responsibility of the Fellow and/or their employer.

    Fee: $3,000 (plus travel for state and national summits)
