• CSDGKC crafts both state and federal legislative platforms, and these platforms serve as the basis for all CSDGKC legislative liaison efforts, both state and national.
• CSDGKC contracts with the firm Rackers and Associates to represent CSDGKC to the Missouri Legislature.
• CSDGKC uses  the "members only" section of its website to keep members informed.
• CSDGKC legislative liaison efforts often asks individual districts to communicate directly with their legislator on specific legislation.
